Prices, dates and trip details

We keep trip pages, dates and prices up to date and correct mistakes as soon as we find them. A price or seat shown on the site is an invitation to email us, not a confirmed booking. The price is fixed when we confirm your booking in writing and you pay the deposit, under our booking terms.

Driving times, opening days of museums and diners, and road conditions on Route 66 change. Itineraries describe what we plan, and the road captain may adjust the order of a day for weather, closures or events.

Text, photos and the logo

The text, the Neon Motel Road name, the logo, our own images and the design of the site belong to Neon Motel Road LLC. You may print pages or share links for personal use. Copying text or images for another website, a brochure or any commercial use needs our written permission.

Many photos come from Wikimedia Commons under free licenses such as CC BY and CC BY-SA. Each is credited with its author, license and source file on the photo credits page, and you may reuse those photos under their own license, not under ours. If you think a photo is credited wrongly, write to us and we will fix it within a few days.

Links to other websites

We link to museums, Wikimedia Commons and other sites we find useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Fair use of the site

Please do not try to break into the site, overload it with automated requests, or copy it wholesale with scraping tools. Normal search engine crawling is welcome.
